Big Luna Sculpt Mane Construction

Here's the beginning of the final stretch in this massive sculpture project. This is all that's left. The mane. I started with the little bang that falls on her face because it was really simple to do. Took me maybe 30 minutes or so to sculpt the rough idea of it. I sculpted it hollow like the rest of the sculpture. I used some wadded paper as a support and used coils to make the shape.

Next I'm going to tackle the rest of the mane. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to do it yet, but I'll come up with something.

Also that chopped-off horn is there as a place holder. I already have the horn made. I'm going to attach it after I get the mane complete.
