Day 6
Added her mane, which was surprisingly easy. Only took me about 20-30 minutes to do. Spent the rest of my time making little tweaks. I added some clay around her eyes to insinuate that she had eyelids and built up her cheek bones a little. I also fixed her right elbow. It was looking a little flat. Gave her a tongue as well.
Tomorrow I'll add the wings and go through final tweaks and preparations. After all that, she'll be finished and I can move on to my next project.

I've been planning on sculpting the full cast (but with Sculpey clay; not sure what you used though) so these set of pics were pretty useful. What you have right now looks amazing. I really like how you did the clouds, they fit in with the aesthetic perfectly. Clouds are such a bitch to do in any medium...I'm not sure I get the pose of Rainbow Dash though, but that might be because she's currently lacking wings. I do look forward to seeing the finished product. Do you have plans on painting it by chance? The color of the clay could make the sculpture go either way, it looks great as is with that bronzeish brown color.
