Day 2

Added Dash's head to her body and added some details to the tail (may rework it).

Haven't attached the tail yet. It's just laying there. I forgot exactly why I'm waiting to attach the tail. I talked to my teacher about it and he told me what I should do, but I cannot remember for the life of me. lol

Next time I'll start adding the clouds and possibly the front legs.

She's looking good, and I really like the way her glory pose is coming together. Well, maybe there's a better name for it, but chest out proudly and head tilted back to take in the world, etc., but from the sketch it also looks like she's doing it to be showy. :)

I'm sure you'll remember the reason for keeping the tail detached, and hopefully tell us. Will you be using any reinforcements to keep it in place, or will it be settled against and into the cloud base enough that it will stay put?

When I first saw the picture I thought, "What the heck do you use the Listerine for in sculpting?" but then I zoomed in. Is that what gives the completed parts of her body that finish and help with smoothing?

Anyway, looking good. :)

Eeyup, I'm really liking how she's turning out.

It was something to do with do I hollow the tail out before I attatch it today? Or do I wait and let it the clay harden a little before I hollow it out? Or something else. There's nothing supporting the tail right now. The clay is still wet and tacky enough that it will stay in place on the cloud base.

That is a bottle of oil soap my teacher uses to clean the tables. I was too lazy to move it. It isn't used for sculpting purposes. XD
