Don't ask me where this came from because even I don't know.

I got done working on a commission and for some reason wanted to break out my Conte Crayons. So I decided to draw Luna...again. lol

I really need to start doing more of these. I got all kinds of traditional media that I haven't even touched. I need to show them some love.

Done in roughly an hour (give or take) completely freehand.

Sorry for the bad lighting in the picture. I'll take a better one when I can. I just wanted to share this right now.

It's a lovely look for her, so soft and gentle even with the contrast of what I'd guess is a sunset. The less extreme head proportion looks terrific and much more natural, even with very little hinting for her body. It's all very sweet and happy. :)

I think it's because I was doing art for the sake of doing it instead of doing it for someone else. I literally just let go and this is what happened.
