Big Luna Sculpt day 19

Day 19

Attached the head to the neck. She's really starting to come together now! The neck was looking a little thick when I initially put the head on, so I took a rasping tool (essentially a small, rounded cheese grater) and shaved down the neck until I felt it looked right.

The head night still look small but I think it'll look right once I start sculpting her facial features and start thinking about how her hair's going to look.

This was the last time I got to work on her before I start back in January. The bottom right picture shows what I did to prep her for the long wait. I sprayed her down, wrapped her up real tight with plastic bags, and secured those with pieces of clay. I put a bigger garbage bag over that and then another bag over the big garbage bag because I didn't know what else to do with it. lol

Not going to lie. I think it was time for a little break from sculpting.
